Welcome to my homepage....

This is my fourteenth year as principal at Clearmount Elementary and my 38th year in education. Before coming to North Canton in 1996, I had 19 years of teaching experience at grades four and six and 5 years of administrative experience at the elementary and junior high levels. I earned both my bachelor and masters degrees from Kent State University as well as my administrative certifications.

Our family lives in Green. My husband Rick retired three years ago with 36 hears of teaching service. My son Nathan is a doctoral student in psychology at West Virginia University. My daughter Sara is a graduate student in physical therapy at The Ohio State University. 

Because both Nathan and Sara were OSU undergraduates, our family loves the Buckeyes!!  Go Bucks!!

 Both Rick and Nathan are also Cleveland Browns fanatics!! Football Sundays have not been that much fun at the Jones house for several years -- maybe this year is their year. Go Browns!!

Every day I am inspired by our dedicated staff, our enthusiastic kids, and our supportive parents and community. Clearmount is a wonderful school. I am proud to be a part of such a child-centered school and an excellent school district.
