Welcome to my homepage! I am the teacher of the deaf for the North Canton Schools. Before working in North Canton I taught the deaf in Canton City for 6 years. I have been working in the North Canton district since 1977. I travel among all the schools in North Canton where there are hearing impaired students (Preschool thru high school). Most of the elementary hearing impaired students are housed at Clearmount.
I attended Kent State University where I graduated with a BA in "Teaching the deaf and hard of hearing." I received my LD certification from Walsh University. I obtained my Master's Degree from Marygrove.
My husband, David, passed away in September 2007. We have two sons. Chris is my oldest son. He is married and lives in Cincinnati. He and his wife have a daughter and a son. My youngest son, Phil, is also married and lives in Akron. He and his wife have a daughter.
