Our class is full of special people.  Each one is special and unique and adds something to the climate of our room.  The students range from 6 to 10 years old and are in grades 1st to 3rd.  While in the resource room, the students work on academics in small groups or individually, working toward accomplishment of IEP goals set the previous spring by a team of educators and the child's parent(s).  Each child also has a general education class they attend with their same age peers.  Length of time and level of interaction in the general education class varies with each individual.  Considerations for inclusion are: distractibility, support needed, content level, skill level, and more.
